SCBA/SAR Training / Service Level Maintenance (SLM) Course Overviews

Through our National network of service technicians, Levitt Training & Consulting can provide on-sate training on several brands of SCBA and Supplied Air Respirators (SAR) including; Scott, MSA, North and Survivair SCBA/SAR.

Course Outline

SCBA/SAR User Level Training (Scott – MSA – North – Survivair)

The objective of this course is to familiarize the SCBA user on Respirator capabilities, maintenance and basic use.

Topics covered in this two hour review are:   donning, doffing, operation, maintenance and required service work.

Any personnel  that may need to wear an Air Supplying Respirator would benefit from this training program.

All participants who successfully complete this program will receive a “Certificate of Attendance”.  The employer will receive a “Record of Training” that they can keep on file.

SCBA/SAR Service Level Maintenance SLM (Scott – Survivair*)

The objective of this maintenance course is to teach the SCBA/SAR maintainer to repair specific parts of the reducer, regulator, face piece and cylinder.

Topics covered in this half day, hands on course are:  repair to the reducer, regulator, face piece, cylinder and cleaning.

Anyone that is responsible for the inspection and maintenance of the SCBA/SAR would benefit in taking the SLM training course.

All participants who successfully complete this program will receive a “Certificate of Attendance”.  The employer will receive a “Record of Training” that they can keep on file.

*Potential exists for certain SCBA/SAR training courses to be delivered in both French and English languages.
